Chris Dann's Facebook Profile

I started this blog because I couldn’t stop thinking about the things around me and the things above me. I’ve always been interested in space travel and what is actually out there in the universe. It’s very, very frustrating to be riveted to this earth and not be able to go star hopping. I think this is shown in my final career as an airline captain, it was the closest I could get.

The mind is a wondrous thing though and science-fiction books have taken me to the edges of the universe and back again. I don’t mean the sort of science fiction you see on TV, although I don’t mind a bit of stargate or startrek, but good solid hard SF with a load of new ideas to ponder over.

I am trying to write about space, science and any weird stuff that I come across and try and bridge the gap between the scientist and us mortals. If I make any mistakes then please contact me I would really like to know.

I try to post something every week and hopefully two times a week but that is not always possible. I’m always after good ideas or bad ideas, they are all ideas that are worthy of a look. So, if you have any ideas either post them on the forum or contact me via facebook or my Google profile link here. If you fancy writing a post then let me know.

My brain slows down to a grind sometimes so if you fancy trying to keep it going so I can write more posts by buying me a coffee then make a donation, if not then no problem I am glad you are here anyway! (no drugs were used in the production of this website, I promise)

  1. Hi Chris,

This is a small concern about my listing in Carnival of Space 199.

My blog name didn’t appear in your link (the only one without the blog’s name) and Cliff McMurray’s name did although he had nothing to do with it.

    How about something like:
21stCenturyWaves.com describes how major economic booms trigger Apollo-style exploration at the International Space Development Conference (ISDC 2011).

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello Chris,

I was looking through pictures of earth formation, and researching some topics for my blog http://www.adropofreiki.blogspot.com about Chrystal formation, when I came across your post on water on the earth. I found this really interesting. I am trying to put the theory across that Complimentary Therapy can be a natural thing and is nothing to be afraid of. This is an informative connection for me. Learning about Chrystal formation has connected me to the scientific side of things, the Earth is a truely insightful place, we a lucky to be here.

The problem with the journal was that the entries were not easy to share.
Doing a blog series is a great way to get repeat blog traffic.
