I started this blog because I couldn’t stop thinking about the things around me and the things above me. I’ve always been interested in space travel and what is actually out there in the universe. It’s very, very frustrating to be riveted to this earth and not be able to go star hopping. I think this is shown in my final career as an airline captain, it was the closest I could get.

The mind is a wondrous thing though and science-fiction books have taken me to the edges of the universe and back again. I don’t mean the sort of science fiction you see on TV, although I don’t mind a bit of stargate or startrek, but good solid hard SF with a load of new ideas to ponder over.

I am trying to write about space, science and any weird stuff that I come across and try and bridge the gap between the scientist and us mortals. If I make any mistakes then please contact me I would really like to know.

I try to post something every week and hopefully two times a week but that is not always possible. I’m always after good ideas or bad ideas, they are all ideas that are worthy of a look. So, if you have any ideas either post them on the forum or contact me via facebook or my Google profile link here. If you fancy writing a post then let me know.
