Largest Amount of Water Found in a Quasar

The farthest and largest Amount of water has been found in a quasar in the form of vapour. The quasar is one of the most powerful objects in the universe with energy output of 1000 trillion suns. The power of the quasar comes from matter that spirals into the centre where there is a supermassive black hole 20 billion times the mass of our sun.

As one light year equals 6,000,000,000,000 miles (6 trillion) give or take a few, the observations show a time when the universe was very young probably around 1.6 billion years old. In the Milky Way the mass of gaseous water is at least 4000 times smaller than that in the quasar.
