Ever fancied walking on the moon? A new site called Moon zoo can almost get you there (well in mind if not body).
The lunar reconnaissance orbiter has taken many photos of the moon and this site presents them in such a way that it is easy to look around and take in the panorama.
There are also ways that you can help in the effort to find out how old the moon is by counting craters. Now that does sound pretty boring doesn’t? But, if everybody did just a little bit it wouldn’t take too long.
There is also the possibility of finding a Russian spacecraft that has settled down on the moon in the past (Possibly).
This is just of the same sort of site as a Galaxy zoo. If you don’t know then this site is for exploring the Galaxy believe it or not. So, if you’re bored with just exploring a rock that circles around the Earth you can explore the Galaxy instead.
One day they will say be saying that for real.
